Cello Editions

The second edition published by Whitman are known as "cellos" or "glossies" because of the cellophane covering these hardback books.  There were only ten books published in this format, and seven of them are first editions.

1.    The Secret of the Mansion            6.    The Mystery in Arizona
2.    The Red Trailer Mystery              7.    The Mysterious Code
3.    The Gatehouse Mystery               8.    The Black Jacket Mystery
4.    The Mysterious Visitor                9.    The Happy Valley Mystery
5.    The Mystery Off Glen Road        10.   The Marshland Mystery

There were obviously different editions printed and published of each book with slightly different inside cover illustrations or different titles listed in the end pages.

A cover was designed for The Mystery at Bob-White Cave but was never used.
