Knut is the oldest of the Idaho Belden's and looks enough like Brian to be his brother.  They are also quite similar in manner: quiet, thoughtful, serious and conservative.

He is over 6 feet tall, wears heavy glasses and has a girlfriend name Gloria.

Knut has the admiration of his sister, Hallie, whom admires his intelligence and his logical mind.  She is extremely proud of him and looks up to her eldest brother.
